You can leave Utah but you cannot escape ruded bigited Mormons

I was on a Caribbean cruise a few years ago; one of the ports was Jamaica. Here I did an excursion that included Dunn's river falls and river tubing and tour of the local area. Part of the local tour included a stop a couple of factories for a free taste of 2 products Jamaica is known for Coffee and Rum. A group of Mormons on the tour raised such a ruckus that we could not stop at the factories for the samples. Worse this group of Mormons said unbelievably rude things about the friends who were with me on the tour (an interracial couple). These comments included many users of the F and N words and included statements as "Polluting the pure race", "Fu@#@# Nig@#@#" "Devil cursed half breeds" etc. The worst examples of the Mormon Church are sometime the members themselves.

Goodness, the mormons that you met where horrible. I lived in Utah and i liked the mormons we always waved at them, although, we never became mormons. It's a funny story though. Sorry you didnt get to go to the factories.

God, the bigots won't go home will they? I have two biracial children. One waitress asked me if I had foreign exchange students. When they were little, a woman in the store asked me if they were my BLOOD children. I said yes. She repeated the question, "You mean, these are your BLOOD children?" Why yes, I replied. She then said they must look like their father. I told her I didn't know who their father was. They could write a book about their short years in moism, the comments, the bullying, the treatment because of me. We've been out for some time now, and life is ever so much better because brown people just aren't the norm in mormonism.

WOw! Even this uncaring jack mormon is offended at this behavior. As long as people are respectful of others, there's no need for name calling. Those mormons should learn to mind they own bidness or stay home. They could have a conjugal visit with Manson, he wants a race war.

Whoa!

That's some pretty evil fundies right there. Sounds like their mormon undies were all in a knot.

Are you sure they were Mormon? If so, I am horrified by their behavior. I am LDS and I have always been taught to treat others with love and respect, because we are all God's children. I guess every religion has its nutjobs...

That is very sad, and should not have been said by the group. However, it is not the teachings of the mormon church, we promote all races of people, and live by certain health codes. It was wrong for the group to make such a ruckus, as it is a personal decision. However, it is not the mormon church's fault, because everywhere there are freaks who act like assholes. The church is not to blame.
